Rick Kelsheimer, an amateur historian, is a native of southern Illinois. After many years as a behavioral therapist and substance abuse counselor in Colorado and Texas, he returned to his hometown of Robinson.

Rick produces rock concerts and owns a book store along with the local bowling alley where he can usually be found watching life go by, ten frames at a time.

Rick is currently working on a historical novel that takes place during the civil war and another story about the legendary Black Panther of Flat Rock.
